Construction Notes by Richard L. Carlisle

Since our last update, we have continued to have favorable
conditions for the installation of sanitary and storm
sewers and the commencement of distribution of water lines.
Although it is difficult to make out our progress on the
attached aerial photograph due to the snow, the following
work is in progress:
- Approximately 70% of the main sanitary trunk sewer line,
as well as numerous major laterals, have been installed.
- Approximately 75% of the major storm sewer work has been
completed. This will allow us to control the spring rains
more effectively and recommence with mass excavation as
early as practical during the spring.
- Water lines have been commenced on the east side of the
site and are progressing toward the Target building area
and south along Middleton Road.
- We have met once again with the electric utility for the
project and all engineering has been completed and work
will commence on the primary electric service during the
month of March.
- The fence between Avon Commons and the residential neighbors
along the western property line has been completed and
work has commenced on the fence bordering the southern
property line.
Due to the generally favorable weather, progress on the
site work continues to be excellent and meets or exceeds
our projected schedule.
