I am writing to update you on the progress of construction
at the Avon Commons Shopping Center. Since our last
update in December we have substantially completed all
of the scheduled on and off site sitework associated with
the Avon Commons Shopping Center.
As of the date of this letter [1-29-01] the following
is the status of construction progress on the site:
- All of the roadway improvements including traffic signals
are installed and operational.
- All of the onsite improvements including utilities,
curbing, paving and site lighting have been substantially
complete including the installation of signage and all stripping.
- Landscaping is 80% complete at the Shopping Center and
will continue to progress as weather permits over the
winter and be finally completed in the spring.
- Target construction is substantially complete and the
store has been turned over to their operations department
for training and merchandising.
- Signage along Detroit Road and on the directional monuments
within the Shopping Center will be installed later next
week for all tenants who have approved their signage
proposals.
Although we continue to complete some minor punch list
items associated with the site work the improvements as
they currently exist meet with the approval of the City
of Avon and they have indicated pursuant to the attached
letter that these improvement are sufficient upon which
to issue Certificates of Occupancy and open for operation.
