2004 Schedule


NOTICE - The tube rental season starts Saturday May 3rd!

The Tube Rental and River Taxi are fund raising projects of the San Marcos Lions Club. The Tube Rental is located in the City Park and next to the Texas National Guard Armory. Proceeds from this and other projects allow the Lions Clubs to support many charities and educational opportunities for students.

Exit IH 35 onto Aquarena Springs Drive,
turn left onto Charles Austin Dr.,
then turn right behind Strahan Basketball Stadium

Weekday and Weekend Rates

Notice: Price Includes All Day Taxi Ride.
Due to parking restrictions at the Rio Vista Dam, all of our tube rentals must include a taxi ride.

$6.00/single tube
$8.00/single tube with bottom
($15.00 deposit per tube required)

$12.00/double tube
$14.00/double tube with one bottom
($30.00 deposit per tube required)

We have a limited supply of "double tubes".

River Taxi Rates

For those folks who bring their own tubes, we offer a shuttle shuttle service from Rio Vista Dam back to the Tube Rental.
$1.50 per person

Tube Deposits

Your deposit can be made with cash or credit card and is returned upon receipt of our tube. Only local checks are accepted. Please be prepared to provide photo identification, i.e., valid drivers license, etc.

Your deposit is returned upon receipt of the tube(s). Please call the Tube Rental to make special arrangements for group reservations and discounts.

We love to Serve. Carver Kindergarten borrowed some of our tubes at
the end of school for their Physical Education Play Day. We want to thank
Paulette, their teacher, for allowing us the opportunity ... to Serve.

Extras

Soft Drinks, assorted candies and chips plus sourvenirs and lockers are available. For the little toobers, we rent life vests for a small nominal fee. We also offer compressed air for your personal floatation devices. The charge is $0.50 for the compressed air. The use of the lockers is free, but remember to bring your own standard lock.


Please, do not pollute the river.


Trash cans are located in various locations in and around the Tube Rental area and are also located at the River Taxi Pickup Point. We offer trash bags at the time your tube is rented. We only ask that you dispose of your personal trash in a proper manner.
