Monogram 1/48 scale TBD-1 Devastator, T-16 (BuNo 1506), piloted by LCDR John C. Waldron, with gunner H. F. Dobbs, ACRM VT-8, USS Hornet, on 4 June 1942. Both were KIA when T-16 was shot down by Japanese Zeros that morning; Kendall resin torpedo; True Details bulged tires; scratch built twin .30 guns and mount; Waldron seat belt buckles; True Detail resin seats; scratch built throttle quadrants, boxed in gunner's rear bulkhead w/structure and lower fuselage bulkheads w/structure at torpedo opening; Model Master II enamels - Blue Grey #2055 and Lt Grey #2038.
