Accurate Miniatures 1/48 scale SBD-3 Dauntless, B-1 (BuNo 4687) piloted by LT Richard H. Best from USS Enterprise's VB-6 on 4 June 1942. Radioman was J.F. Murray, ACRM(PA). LT Best scored a direct hit on the IJN carrier Akagi. Twin .30 mount and gunner's rear bulkhead from Hasegawa kit; Aeromaster Decals; Kendall resin 1000 pound bomb; Model Master II enamels.
