This site was developed purely for my own enjoyment and entertainment. I did it the old fashioned way, without benefit of any specialized HTML editors or layout programs (simply because I prefer to work that way).

The HTML code was written from scratch, using Alan Phillip's excellent freeware Windows text editor, Programmer's File Editor (PFE), v1.0.1. PFE is no longer under development, but is still available at numerous FTP sites, as well as (for a while, at least) at the old PFE website.

David Hamel's well-designed and responsive Boxer text editor for DOS, v7.5.

plus...
Later HTML editing was done using NEdit (the Nirvana Editor) v5.1 under GNU/Linux (Red Hat v6.1).

The images were generated using JASC Software's Paint Shop Pro, v5.0, the premier PC shareware image editing package today. Animated GIFs were created in Animation Shop, also from JASC Software.

Lately, I've done a little bit of work in The GIMP under GNU/Linux. This is an amazing program!

All imagemap data was generated by Todd Wilson's Map This!, v1.30, an excellent free alternative to other, more difficult to use packages.

Throughout initial development, virtually all previewing was done in Netscape Communicator v4.05 - v4.7, both under Windows 95 and GNU/Linux. Lately, it has also been previewed using the excellent Opera Web browser, v3.60. Just for the record (though not as a credit), this site has also been previewed in MS Internet Explorer 4.0.

I also utilized a few other programs here and there, including an old version of CorelDRAW!, Microsoft BASIC 7.1 Professional Development System (PDS) and a couple of utilities developed by myself.

Howdy!

And, I guess I should at least provide a little bit of information about myself.
