Kinder High School Spanish Club

The Spanish Club will sing Christmas carols in Spanish at the Kinder Nursing Home and distribute fruit baskets to the residents on December 19, 2002.

This year the Spanish Club is "icaliente!"

"I am so proud of this year's club. It has matured so much since its inception at KHS in 2000-2001. Great Job, Spanish "Clubbers!" My "sombrero" is off to you all.

"Sinceramente", Sra. Langley

On November 2, 2002, the club hosted the homecoming dance. Pictures were taken, and then everyone headed to the dance floor. Jennifer Roberts reigned as the 2002 Homecoming Queen, and Chris Williams reigned as the 2002 Homecoming King. All the students had a great time.

Spanish Club Mission Statement

The mission of the club is to support and help initiate a strong Spanish Program at KHS, as well as gather and examine the inpact of the language as it affects us. We will explore the culture of Latin-American countries and Latin Americans in the United States, particularly our community.

Fund-raising activities, as well as field trips, focus around Spanish language and culture.

The Spanish Club sponsors various fund-raisers and dances. The club hopes to keep school spirit alive through these activities, including a Sadie Hawkins dance and the annual homecoming dance.
