Substance Abuse Preventive Education is a program designed to discourage the use of alcohol and drugs. It serves as a support group for the students who choose to "Say No." The SAPE club's sponsor is Mrs. Trahan and we have about 30 members.

Just recently the SAPE club went to the middle school and shared information with 6th-8th grade students on staying drug free. This is done each year during "Red Ribbon Week." This year there were 27 members that attended. We hope that our visit helps these younger students to be confident in making the right decision with alcohol and drugs.

Our annual drug education program was cancelled recently due to a cancellation by the guest speaker. We do not yet know when or if it will be rescheduled. Updates will be posted.
