The FCCLA club is a very active club at Kinder High School. The club is a part of the Family and Consumer Sciences Department. Any student who takes a course in Family and Consumer Sciences is eligible to become a member of the FCCLA. Members attended the Regional meeting held in December at the Civic Center in Rayne, Louisiana. The state meeting will be held in Alexandria, Louisiana this year. The three day meeting will be held March 18-20.
Club members go to the Kinder Elementary school to read to Pre-K students each month.
