Kinder High School Future Business Leaders of America
Future Business Leaders of America is a national non-profit vocational education organization for students who are interested in preparing for business, office, or business education careers. FBLA is an integral part of the instructional program in vocational business education, whose activities provide an opportunity for business students to prepare for business occupations.
Members of the FBLA learn how to engage in individual and group business enterprises, how to hold office and direct the affairs of the group, how to work with representatives of other youth organizations, and how to compete honorably with their colleagues on the local, state, and national levels. FBLA provides an opportunity to travel to district, state, regional, and national conferences.
The Kinder High School Chapter of FBLA, #1291, was organized in 1955. Membership is composed of students enrolled in a business subject who have maintained a "B" average in that particular subject and who maintain an overall "C" average in all classes in which they are enrolled.

Every year a district rally is held at McNeese State University for members of the FBLA. It is there that the members compete in a variety of tests relating to business. This year five of the FBLA members from Kinder High School, Daniel, Amberly, Tabitha, Kristy and Judith, attended the rally and received outstanding ranks. Both Daniel and Amberly placed superior in their Introduction To Business tests and are qualified to attend the state rally. Kristy placed excellent in her Marketing test; Tabitha placed excellent in her Business Procedures test; and Amberly placed excellent in her Business Communications test.
