The Kinder High School Student Council is the voice of the student body. The club consists of three representatives from each class, the presidents from all other clubs, and the Student Council officers. To become a class representative, one must be nominated by fellow classmates.
The main function of the club is to sponsor the Academic Awards Banquet that is held in May. Over one hundred students are presented with various awards each year.
The Student Council has chosen to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as its civic project. Students hold two fundraisers each year and all proceeds go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
