Beta Club will attend District
Conference on October 24th at McNeese.
Kinder High School Beta Club is a very
talented group. To even join the club you must have no more than one
"C" on your report card; and "C's" are only accepted in some classes.
During the past few years we have shown our talent in various talent
shows. Two years in a row we took home the 1st place prize in Beta's
District Talent Competition. After our first victory we took our
talent to the State Competition and placed 3rd. During our 2nd reign
as champs we again tried our luck at state. This time we took it all.
We came home as State Talent Competition Champs. We decided to go to
National Competition. At National Competition we didn't place, but we
had a fun time.
The Kinder High School BETA Club consists of those students who maintain a "B" average (3.0) and have indicated a desire to become a part of the organization. To remain in the club, this average must be maintained. One or more C's in consecutive six weeks results in expulsion from the club for the remainder of the year. If put out of school for any reason, a student is removed from the club roll.
