Combat Pistol Course
1.  The combat course of fire is generally limited to military competitions of division or division equivalent level.  It is fired with a rack grade issue weapon.  Usually these days that means the M9 pistol although both the M1911A1 and M11 may also be seen.

2.  Range:  All firing is coducted at 25 meters.

3.  Target:  The target is a ten point target with about man size, with the center of mass containing a ten ring about four inches wide by 8 or so inches tall.  The target is all black, and no value lower than five is used.

4.  Stages:

    a.  Prone, ten shots in two and one half minutes with a magazine change.
