The Louisiana Diamond Express girls fastpitch softball organization
was started in May 1997. Our purpose is to create a girls fastpitch softball organization that will further the talents and dreams of our young ladies by learning to
play at a higher level of competition. The organization is committed to creating an environment where each girl can
reach her greatest athletic ability and possibly earn a college scholarship as well as stressing good sportsmanship and conduct. We stress
to our players to remember that we are the Diamond Express and in or out of uniform you should represent the organization, community, and our
sponsors with sportsmanship and pride. Our goal is to become a strong contender in the competitive travel ball arena that is quickly developing in
North Louisiana and across the state. The Diamond Express is a non-profit organization fielding travel teams for
10 & under, 12 & under,
14 & under, and 16 & under. The Diamond Express draws players
from Farmerville, Bernice, Downsville, Marion, Linville, Ruston, and Spearsville Louisiana. The reason the Diamond Express was started was to provide an organization
that would enable the girls to start playing travel ball at 10U and continue through the organization playing competitive fastpitch softball.
Hopefully, travel ball will prepare them fundamentally for high school and college fastpitch softball.
