Cherokee Village United Methodist
Church
Cherokee Village United Methodist Church is located in the heart of the Ozark Mountain foothills, in beautiful Cherokee Village, Arkansas. Come and be with us as we move forward in our mission of service to God. Take an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings that God has blessed us with here in the Ozarks. Cherokee Village United Methodist Church was founded in April 1964. In the
first days of the church the worship service was held in a Boy Scout dining
hall on Kolo Drive. In June of that same year the meeting place was moved to
the Council Lodge, and by the end of the month, Cherokee Village United
Methodist Church had enrolled 70 members. In January 1965 the enrollment was
up to 103 and all were designated as charter members. The present church
plant was constructed in 1970 and an educational wing was completed in 1979.
As the present church facilities serve us well, we would invite one and all
to come and join us. Experience the blessings of God's work here at Cherokee
Village United Methodist Church as we work to meet the needs of a growing
community and a growing world.
