The "Original TEXAS Country Lady"

An enjoyable task and goal has been accomplished. This is truly an "Original TEXAS Country Lady" homepage. These samples of our designs are originals and my team of workers create them at home.

Some samples are here from which you may choose, so we can personalize your apparel designs (created with 100 percent cotton fabrics), summer straw hats, hat pins, belts, earrings and pillows. Screen print textile designs individualized for your needs may be ordered as well. The minimum is ten yards. We will continue to expand our jewelry line. A children's clothing line is new this year.

The evolution of this work is an outgrowth of my heritage. Having been raised on a farm and ranch of the fifth generation, I grew up working out of doors with my large family. I can recall great aunts and uncles, grandparents and parents always wearing hats, long sleeves, gloves, long skirts and jeans to protect themselves from the sun. Colorful hats and bonnets were a sight I often witnessed in the "field vegetable garden."

One of the highlights of country living, yearly, was the expectation of the seasonal catalogs from two major companies. The discarded ones became our paper dolls. I loved to make my list for school clothes (that we didn't sew) and at Christmas time, too.

I hope our colorful homepage will be a "feast for your eyes" and that we will be hearing from you soon with orders for clothing, accessories (jewelry, belts, necklaces, hats and bracelets). Shopping from online services is convenient and you don't have to leave the warmth, comfort and safety of your home.

We would also love to hear from you, so connect with us with your comments and suggestions.
