On July 24, President and Mrs. Bush visited Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo Chaplain Kircher was Mrs. Bush's personal escort while they were there. He showed her around the Chapel and introduced her to many of the soldiers there.

Pretty soon, you will be able to help some of the people in Kosovo. My brother Lenny has a very big soft spot for children. He has a hard time dealing with the suffering he sees everyday. The youth of BUMC will soon start a drive to collect items to send to Chaplain Kircher for the children. This way you will actually see the children that your gifts will benefit. We will send everything we collect directly to Lenny and he will see that those children receive what they so sorely need. You will not be sending things to nameless, faceless people. You will actually have the opportunity to view pictures of him giving our things out. We will be announcing our plans soon.
