We're ready to help. Are you?

Who we are:
La Crosse County Amateur Radio Emergency Service is a group of dedicated radio operators in La Crosse County Wisconsin and surrounding counties, committed to public service and assistance in times of disaster.
What we do:
We work cooperatively with organizations and other amateurs in Wisconsin to provide needed public service communication in times of need and disaster. La Crosse A.R.E.S. currently works closely with the National Weather Service and the American Red Cross.
Where we do it:

A.R.E.S. in conjunction with local amateur radio clubs provides emergency communication in west central Wisconsin and southeast Minnesota. Members are prepared to travel to nearby areas to assist other groups.

Listen to how you can hear ham radio spotters in action!
