Eighth grade math students recently completed a unit working with area and volume. They had LOTS of practice using formulas and solving multi-step equations. Sketching and labeling accurately were an important part of the process. They are completed a unit working with square roots and the Pythagorean property. Students are completing the year working with statistics and graphing. Their middle school math experience should have prepared them well for high school algebra.
