Wow! This year has gone by so fast. In May students finished a media unit. During this unit, students worked in groups to create a commercial video. They learned how to use a movie maker program on the computers and edit and add things to their commercials. They turned out awesome! I am amazed at the creativity and acting ability in this class. The last two weeks of May we have been reviewing capitalization and punctuation rules. Lastly, the students' two-year writing portfolio will be evaluated. Students will have the opportunity to self-reflect on the writing pieces in their portfolio and evaluate them. This will conclude our curriculum. Overall, I have seen some real growth in everyone's writing this year and am very proud of all they have accomplished. I wish you all Good Luck in high school.
